Follow the map marker to the last Johnny, who is (inconveniently) situated right near the border between the Costa del Sol and Gold Saucer sides of the Corel region. It’s like he’s playing hide-and-seek with us!
Put another way, this divide will thwart our progress with the quest temporarily if we attempt it prior to unlocking the Gold Saucer side. We can’t explore the desert area until the start of Chapter 9 when we get the desert buggy. Ugh, the suspense is killing us!
That’s the tough part. Well, no. Fighting the Tonberry King, who happens to be the Corel region’s Classified Intel monster, is the toughest part. But don’t worry, we’ve got a guide for fighting him. Time to channel your inner warrior and give that king a run for his money!

With the crown stolen, bring it to the last Johnny, then return to Costa del Sol. Witness the dramatic events at the conclusion of this saga, and get to work delivering those curios for Johnny’s treasure trove. It’s finally time to shine!
